Year 4 ventured back in time and held a Roman Day!
They designed and made shields, took part in some Roman army basic training as well as practicing some of their tactical formations. Pupils also took part in a Roman Numeral scavenger hunt, learnt about the Roman gods & goddesses and created their own unique mosaic tiles – drawing inspiration from the Roman mosaics that we’ve studied. They had an exhausting, but fabulous day.
