Discover the many ways you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our HJPS children by becoming an active part of our vibrant community.
We’re constantly seeking volunteers at our school, whether you’re a parent, grandparent, aunt, or uncle. Join us in helping children improve their literacy and boost their confidence by volunteering to listen to them read in both English and Hebrew.
If you work in an industry with specialised skills, consider coming in to share your knowledge with our eager learners. Help broaden their horizons and ignite their passion for various careers in the world.
With limited school budgets, we greatly appreciate donations of goods and equipment. If you have access to items like IT or sports equipment, instruments, printing facilities, games, or even bouncy castles, your contribution would be invaluable.
Experience the joy of assisting with our daily drop-off and pick-up service. Volunteers greet children, ensuring they safely enter and exit vehicles, allowing parents to quickly drop off or pick up their little ones.
Now that I’ve retired, coming in to help read with the children every week, is genuinely the highlight of my week. I get an insight into the lives of my grandchildren and it’s a privilege to watch a class of children’s confidence grow and become lovers of reading.

Do you have an incredible fundraising idea that can help us secure much-needed funds? Can you organise an event that supports our school financially? Share your creative ideas with us!
Consider becoming a sponsor for one of our sports teams, an event, a brochure, a special celebration day, or one of the many festivals we celebrate at school. Your sponsorship will greatly enrich our school experiences.
Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) plays a pivotal role in raising funds for the school each year. Join the PTA to make a meaningful impact while building lasting friendships.
Each academic year, we seek two class representatives to facilitate communication between the school and parents. Class reps also help organise enjoyable class social events.
Being able to greet the children one morning a week at drop and go is a fun and rewarding way to start my day. I decided to volunteer as I was grateful to all the other parents who allow me to just drop and go on the other days and get to work that little bit faster.
