As an academic, I have worked in Higher Education for over 20 years lecturing, researching and publishing academic papers and managing strategic positions from Postgraduate Course Director and Senior Tutor (responsible for managing staff and pastoral care for university students) as well as managing Plagiarism and Disciplinaries.

I am qualified with a Degree, Masters, PhD and a PGCE in Higher Education and a Fellow of Higher Education Academy. I am passionate about great teaching and I have won a Chancellors Teaching Award. I currently hold the role as a Senior Lecturer and Course Director at Cranfield University, leading on modules for a variety of postgraduate and executive programmes. I am also an External Examiner for Middlesex University.

As a parent of two children at HJPS, I am committed and delighted to be able to use my skills and knowledge to help and support the school and contribute, within my role as a parent governor.
