Year 6 Specialist Art Project

This week, both Year 6 classes worked with a specialist art teacher to produce a collaborative piece of artwork to hang in the foyer of the school.  They worked with different materials to produce a series of images, which will form the final piece, due to be installed during half-term.

Year 6 Residential

Our Year 6 children enjoyed their residential trip to Kent.  They had an incredible time taking part in a variety of activities, such as climbing, archery and teamwork challenges.  It was wonderful to see the children embracing every moment and we are confident these memories will be treasured for years to come.

Book Week at HJPS

Planting of an Orange Tree at HJPS

Just before we broke up for half-term, we marked the occasion of Tu B’Shvat by planting an orange tree at the front of our school. We would like the tree to serve as a reminder of the values of sustainability and appreciation for the natural world.
