Pupil Premium

library_booksPupil Premium Impact – July 2017

In July 2017 there were 9 children in receipt of the Pupil Premium funding, all of whom were in Key Stage 2.  Progress and attainment data is monitored very carefully:

Reading – only 1 child was below age related expectations and progress for all was good with 7 children making ‘strong’ progress.
Writing – 7 children were at or above age related expectations and once again progress was good, with 8 children making good or ‘strong’ progress.
Maths – only 1 child was below age related expectations and progress for all was good or very ‘strong’.

The pupil premium grant has been used to enrich the curriculum with music and art groups.  Children’s emotional well-being needs are also being met through the provision of nurture groups.  In addition each child has been allocated a member of the Senior Leadership Team whom they meet regularly for one to one sessions in an academic discipline or simply to act as a mentor to cater for social, emotional or behavioural needs.
